This trip is designed for people that want to go on a longer ride, but can't get away for the entire week for the Vegas ride.
We'll meet at the Morrison/I-70 Park-n-Ride Saturday June 2, at 6:45 (changed from 7:45), & leave at 7:05 AM. The Morrison exit (exit #259) is about 1 mile West of the C-470/I-70 junction (see map). We'll meet in the Stegosaurus lot (changed from the T-Rex lot) on the NE corner of the junction. There are 3 parking lots off that exit. The Stegosaurus lot is on the East side of I-70, adjacent to the on-ramp for Eastbound I-70 (if you're heading West on I-70, take the Morrison exit, stay left, turn left at the light, then turn left into the first parking lot). We will leave with the Vegas gang & head West with them until Aspen (or somewhere 'round there), then turn South & stay somewhere like Montrose or Ouray. Significant others are welcome. We'll figure out accommodations on the fly. Packing into a room is okay to help with the cost of gas, unless you want your own room for you and your significant other. After Saturday's evening of entertainment, well rock out Sunday morning & carve it through places like the Black Canyon!!! This trip's itinerary is open for suggestions... the most & best twisties preferred. It would be nice to have an idea of who is coming, but you don't have to RSVP since this an "on the fly trip".
