I have heated grips but they don't get the fingertips worth a shit! By the time i got to the office it felt like the tips of my fingers were going to pop like balloons.

Do you plug your gloves in to the bike or are they battery?

Put a set of hand guards on your bars. They will really help keep your hands warm. I did that one winter on the SV when I commuted from Longmont to Golden. Heated grips plus hand guards to keep the wind off the backs of your fingers.

I was thinking about that, not a bad idea may do that rather than the gloves.
