Thumbs up Nate Butler for leather repair work

OK. I finally got rid my (smelly) signature.
Nate cleaned and conditioned my leathers. He also added a patch of mesh in an area where the liner ripped.

I had the leathers in a tiny closet for 12 hours or so and the closet now smells like leather again. Also, the mesh insert looks fantastic.

He said it is ok to give out his phone number, so here it is: 720.243.2059
    Nate's shop is in Wheatridge.

I also saw the before and after of two other sets of leathers. One of them was in pretty bad shape (sorry to say) and they look almost like new again. Amazing! Unfortunately, I did not take a before and after pic.

Gonna be taking 2 sets of leathers to him soon. Any idea on a general reconditioning cost?

+1 for Nate and another big +1 for Rabea for hauling our leathers up to Wheatridge from Colorado Springs! (And congrats on the new Audi!!)

Nate's work is phenomenal and surprisingly inexpensive. He charged me $100.00 for the repairs and some light reconditioning. They look, feel and smell brand new again.

Saved me from having to buy another $400 pair of paints and $600 jacket.

If I remember correctly, between $25 to $35, depending on the condition of your leathers. The way I understood it is that he does not only clean and condition the leathers, but he also touches up spots that are scratched or worn as best he can, which is more time consuming.

Mrs. Clovis just reminded me that our leathers are in need of repair. She doesn't want to go to the spine in "ghetto leathers" (ie hers are scuffed up, have some burn holes from our spill last summer).

Hopefully Nate can work his magic and get them done within a month

My leathers will need some conditioning again. I plan on dropping them off at Nate's in 2-3 weeks or so. If you are in the Dirty Dirty and need some leather repair and/or conditioning, lemme know and I can take yours with me. I would want you to write a list of what exactly needs to be done to them, your phone # and I can drop them off.
    PM me if interested.

BTW - Nate did some great alteration of Dainese leathers and it looks great! He basically converted a "large" Italian leather suit to fit a 6'5" person....

Nate repaired both my leathers (for a second time) and my wife's leathers again in May and like last time they went in shreaded and came back looking brand new!

    Highly recommended!

I saw this from my FB feed from Rybo.

Hey FBook friends and customers. You know me, I rarely post whiney BS. An occasional rant about off shore made leathers, drivers that won't yield the right of way, or the general political nonsense that goes one here. OK so I whine every now and then.

Well I'm gonna post one now, here goes.........

Your beloved Bloodnickel is on the verge of closing the doors and seeking employment (write in steady pay check) elsewhere. This could be a simple as a part time sewing gig at another shop, or as drastic as moving completely out of Denver altogether (both are options).

The original plans were to recruit some young talent this spring, re-open an old snowboard clothing line and tear into Bloodnickel with a vengeance. These plans seem to be evaporating as quickly as a summer rain from hot tarmac.

What Bloodnickel needs from you: BRING IN YOUR WORK NOW, HAVE ME COMPLETE IT, AND PICK IT UP PROMPTLY! Plain and simple. I realize that winter time is when we all put our bikes into storage and focus on other things, so this can be hard for everyone to remember. Rent is still due at my shop, I would like to take the time and money to train young talent over the winter, and most importantly I like eating as much as the next person.

Any work is appreciated and I would of course very much like to continue to be the sewing hag for the MRA and CO motorcyclists next summer. But..... If I don't make it through the winter, I won't be around to fix your stuff by that time.

    Thanks for reading
    Nate

PS The phone is currently off so you'll have to message me here till I get it turned on again.Yeah it's THAT bad
Nate has always done a great job on fixing my stuff, sad it's come to this. If you have anything that needs alteration or repair, please send it to Nate at Bloodnickel.

Nate has been kicking ass for you riders so please support him now instead of taking your business to a dealer or bigger places. Just like we come together for charity stuff, let's spread the word to support local business and help one of our own.
